“Skateland” tells the story of Ritchie Wheeler, who is entering a transitional phase of his adolescence, trying to work out the changes going on in his home life and all around him. Set to the backdrop of the end of an era in the 1980s, the film brings us back to the time before modern technology became the focal point, and a simple skating rink could be a huge part of our lives. In this clip, Michelle, played by Ashley Greene (”Twilight”) shares a moment with Ritchie (Shiloh Fernandez) as he struggles with these changes.

Een aantal bezoekers op het Sundance Film Festival waren positief over Ashley’s film ‘Skateland’. Bekijk een aantal hieronder via youtube van de L.A. Times.

Ashley heeft via haar twitter laten weten dat ze is aangekomen in Berlijn! En dat het daar reuze koud is, zo’n 3 graden. Ashley is in de Duitse hoofdstad voor de opnames van haar nieuwste film ‘The Apparation’, waarin ze o.a. samenwerkt met ‘Gossip Girl’ acteur Sebastian Stan. Hopelijk verschijnen er ook set foto’s!

Dit betekende dus wel dat Ashley geen verschijning heef gemaakt op het Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Waar haar nieuwste film ‘Skateland’ gisteren in premiere is gegaan.

Ashley staat op de februari 2010 cover van het blad ‘Savy Magazine’. Met een prachtige nieuwe shoot, waar hopelijk snel outtakes van verschijnen.

The February 2010 issue of Savvy Magazine features a new interview and cover with Twilight and New Moon star Ashley Greene.

In a ten-page fashion spread and interview, the actress discusses her independent film, Skateland, as it debuts at the Sundance Film Festival. She also shares a behind the scenes glimpse at filming The Twilight Saga movies and discusses her most recent endeavor, landing the lead in the new Warner Bros. thriller The Apparition.

“To actually be the lead of a studio film and to have input on it is just really cool.” said Greene.
The movie begins shooting early this year in Berlin.

Ashley staat op #41 van AskMen.com’s Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2010!

Ik heb wat nieuwe stijl gidsen toegevoegd of aangepast voor de volgende van Ashley’s outfits!

Ashley heeft in een interview laten weter er serieus over nagedacht te hebben om een mannelijke stuntdouble in te huren voor vechtscene’s.

“I might ask for a male body double because I have broad shoulders, but definitely not because I have two sets of sexual organs.”

En over haar toekomst vertelde ze het volgende:

“What would I like to be doing in 10 years? I’ll be 32. Maybe having a baby. No, I think something along the lines of doing a really incredible, inspiring film with a strong female character. I think when I’m around 32, I’ll be up for things like that.”

New Moon star Ashley Greene gave us more dish on her personal style at the DPA Golden Globes gift lounge, where she picked up goodies like Kerstin Florian luxe skin care and an adorable Cloud B pillow.

What She’s Stylin’: This outfit came straight out of my closet. I’m wearing an Urban Outfitters jacket. The dress is Arden B. It’s light and airy, but also edgy. Even though it’s January, it’s like 72 degrees outside!

Confessions of a Shopaholic: I’m a big Alice + Olivia fan. They’ve got really cute and comfortable stuff for everyday wear. They’ve got a nice mix. Every time I go in that store, I come out with three or four things.

Outerwear Obsessions: Right now, I really love the big cardigans that look like grandpa sweaters. They’re the cutest thing! They instantly give you a cool edge. I’m also loving cropped faux-fur jackets. I have a leopard one by Alice + Olivia and a white one by Sanctuary. They keep you incredibly warm, which is great! It’s nice that you can be warm and still be stylish—whether you put it over an LBD or a wifebeater.
